Big Brother has become renowned for its bust-ups, tears and bizarre antics across 25 years on our screens. But it has also provided the platform for many budding romances, with some housemates getting rather comfortable in each other's company and starting relationships as a result. Unfortunately most end in abject failure, spawning rumours of a Big Brother curse to match that of its primetime rival Strictly Come Dancing. It all kicked off in 2001, when Helen Adams fell for Paul Clarke despite having a boyfriend, leading to a five-year romance once they got back into the real world before realising they were better as friends.
