A famous Coronation Street star has bagged himself a new role on a rival soap, seven years after saying goodbye to the cobbles. Connor McIntyre played one of Weatherfield's most memorable villains Pat Phelan in the ITV show from 2013 to 2014, returning in 2016 before being killed off in June 2018. And now the 64-year-old is making his return to world of soaps to star in an upcoming episode of medical drama Casualty this month.
