But scientists now believe that some of these famous throuples may actually be an entirely new form of sexual attraction. A new study from researchers at Seattle University argues that 'symbiosexual' people are attracted to the energy between established couples rather than any of the individuals themselves. A large number of participants in the study reported feeling a sexual and romantic attraction to a 'third force' or 'synergy' between the existing members of a couple.
