A student has claimed that she was left suffering from a series of chronic eye infections after living in 'moldy' college dorms. Macey Jean Scholten, from New Albany, Ohio, had been staying in campus accommodation for just one month when she started experiencing irritating and unsightly symptoms. The 19-year-old tried everything from antibiotics to steroid eye drops but said that the infections kept coming back. She explained that her teachers and peers believed the unsightly symptoms were a sign of her taking drugs - which she has strongly denied.
