Juventus have withdrawn from the European Super League plot in a hammer blow for the controversial breakaway competition. The Italian giants have requested to re-join the European Club Association (ECA), a body representing over 600 clubs which has strongly opposed the Super League. It leaves just Barcelona and Real Madrid standing from the original 12 clubs who proposed the European Super league in 2021. All 12 sides, including the Premier League's 'big six', were excluded from the ECA after the proposal but Juventus are set to become the 10th to be readmitted.
