Former NRL champ Darius Boyd and his wife Kayla have splashed out $2.5million on a fixer-upper in the inner-city Brisbane suburb of Paddington. The experienced house flippers, both 37, are using the property to launch a new development venture, the Deseño Group. Newly released design plans reveal that the original 1930s four-bedroom, two-bathroom weatherboard will be transformed into a lavish multi-level mansion. Since the pad is heritage-listed, the development plans won't involve a complete demolition.
