Newly unemployed Jim Acosta appeared to know his days were numbered at CNN weeks before announcing he'd refused a demotion to midnight. Acosta has announced his new career move after revealing that he would be leaving CNN in a tantrum on Tuesday. The anchor announced that he launched a brand-new Substack - just hours after making his final on-air broadcast with the legacy media outlet. It appears that the new venture - which he is calling 'The Jim Acosta Show' - has been in the works since at least January 16, which is when the first post on the Substack is dated.
