Instagram goes DOWN and Facebook users suffer issues amid nationwide Meta outage
Instagram has gone down across the US as users report the app and service connection are not working. Downdetector, a site the monitors online outages, also shows Facebook is experiencing issues, but not as widespread. Instagram's outage hit around 9am ET, with more than 10,000 users issuing reports to Downdetector. Facebook appears to be working for some users, but those unlucky few are unable to access the website or app.
